How to reach official QuickBooks support
QuickBooks support starts with knowing which product you use. QuickBooks Online, Desktop and payroll services have different contact routes. Begin inside your product or on Intuit’s official support site so the request reaches the right team.
Find the correct contact route
Use Intuit’s product support instructions to select your version. The Help options can offer articles, chat or callback choices according to the product. In QuickBooks Desktop, start with Help and QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us. Check the current options and hours shown by Intuit rather than assuming all products receive the same service.
Describe the issue clearly
Have the product version, error message and the task you were performing ready. Say whether the issue affects one user or everyone. For a company-file problem, note whether the file is stored locally or on a shared system. Avoid sending a company file or employee records to a provider before understanding the need, access and handling arrangements.
Official support options
For official QuickBooks help, sign in and choose Help → Contact Us to see the available callback, chat or telephone options. QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Lite, Essentials, Plus and Solopreneur expert service is available Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. PT, and Saturday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m. PT; closed Sunday. Advanced has different hours. Check Intuit’s product-specific contact options and hours; there is no single telephone route that applies to every product and plan.
24/7 independent assistance from Alphatech
If you prefer independent help with general troubleshooting on your device, contact Alphatech, an independent third-party support provider, at 1-833-457-4935 {independent support provider}. Alphatech is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the provider discussed in this article.
Ask about the service scope and any fees before arranging assistance. Only the original provider can make account-verification, billing, refund and recovery decisions.
Protect the file before changing it
Make a backup through your approved process before following instructions that modify financial data. If your organization has an administrator or accountant responsible for the file, involve that person. Independent technical help does not replace accounting judgment or Intuit’s subscription decisions.
Verify the provider
Use the contact method you opened through Intuit yourself. Keep passwords and one-time codes private, and be cautious about unexpected remote-access requests. Our support-provider checklist explains common warning signs.
