How to contact Comcast and Xfinity support
Before contacting Comcast or Xfinity, identify the service involved: home internet, television, mobile service or an account question. A clear starting point helps you avoid troubleshooting a device when the service or account needs attention.
Start with Xfinity’s own contact page
Open Xfinity Contact Us directly. Use the options shown for your service and location. Sign in through Xfinity’s website when the support process requires account-specific information. Check current contact availability there instead of relying on a number displayed by an unrelated provider.
For a connection problem
Write down which devices are affected and when the issue started. If your account shows a service notice, read it before repeatedly resetting equipment. Follow Xfinity’s instructions for the equipment you have. A factory reset is different from a restart and may erase settings, so do not perform one as a routine first step.
Official support options
Official Xfinity support: 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489). Confirm the current hours and contact route for your service on Xfinity’s official contact page; availability can depend on the department and request.
24/7 independent assistance from Alphatech
If you prefer independent help with general troubleshooting on your device, contact Alphatech, an independent third-party support provider, at 1-833-457-4935 {independent support provider}. Alphatech is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the provider discussed in this article.
Ask about the service scope and any fees before arranging assistance. Only the original provider can make account-verification, billing, refund and recovery decisions.
For a bill or service change
Use the official account route and have the relevant charge date or service question ready. Xfinity controls its billing, contract and service decisions. An independent technician cannot authorize a refund or change those terms.
Keep access proportionate
Do not give a caller passwords, verification codes or remote access simply because they claim to know your provider. Open the official contact channel yourself and verify the request. Our support-provider checklist can help you evaluate unfamiliar assistance.
